NRI Action Plan Subcommittee of Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 18, 2026

NH NEWPORT — Newport's NRI Action Plan Subcommittee merged draft conservation goals and selected a document format in a planning meeting. Subcommittee members Don Schagen and Andy Boutin reviewed action plans from Claremont, Sunapee, Boscawen, Rye, and the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions, choosing to combine the NHACC's introductory structure with Claremont's goal-and-action-item layout. The pair merged their independently prepared goal lists, which covered approximately 90 percent of the Conservation Commission's annual objectives, and expanded the scope to include the full commission goal set.

A revised draft will be circulated before the next meeting on March 25.
