Board continues cluster development rehearing in deliberations.

Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of April 15, 2026

NH NEWPORT — Zoning Board continues cluster development rehearing with legal guidance. The Board of Adjustment on April 15 continued deliberations on a cluster development proposal for Langley Road by Lawrence E. DeCristofaro, Jr., which was initially approved in November 2025 but underwent rehearing after abutters sought reconsideration.

Town Counsel Stephen Whitley answered three questions about zoning definitions, confirming the proposal fits the cluster development definition and requires Planning Board subdivision approval. The Board remained in deliberations and did not open the case for new public comment, drawing an objection from Bert Spaulding, Sr.
